The Gillausklause is a place of both rest and relaxation and yet endless adventures. According to our motto “Here you are not disturbed and you do not disturb anyone”. You decide on the rhythm and routine of your day. Unwind on the sun terrace and enjoy the sounds of the forest or lie under the trees listening to your favourite music.
Adults and children will find a vast array of activities to while away the hours. Surrounded by nature, it’s possible to swim, raft and relax in Gillaus Creek and the recreation dam close to the house. Guests can also enjoy trampolining, tree climbing, mountain biking, hunting for mushrooms, sauna bathing, hiking, sitting by the fire place or swinging gently in a hammock, swaying in the breeze.
The area around Gillausklause offers a range of additional sporting activities including fishing, horse riding, tennis and golf. Furthermore, there are many interesting daytrips close by Wachau, 12 kilometers away, including expeditions to the mystical Waldviertal forest. The Restaurant Fischer in Albrechtsberg can provide a wide range of culinary dishes ranging from Waldviertler specialties to vegetarian food all at the request of guests.
Lunch and/or dinner (not including beverages) – costs from 12,- Euro per person per meal depending on the choice of food and number of courses.
