To be honest...I would like to keep this place a secret, so that I never have a problem booking it for my seminars :) But, as I am not the only one searching for an enclave in the woods: this home is the most amazing place I have rented in a long time. From the light switch placement to the dishes and candleholders, the attention to detail which Mr. Domanig displays in his home makes you wish you lived here. The communication was fast, accurate and solution-oriented (also after check-in and payment occurred), location unbeatable. The Gillausklause is pure relaxation, from the moment you arrive.

The stay was PERFECT! The host was incredibly organised and the communication was seamless. The house was super clean and had everything you could possibly need. The pictures online are very accurate- there was plenty of space for all of us (12 stk). The service was incredibly professional, we received plenty of information about the surroundings (wonderfully organised) and also about the house itself- top notch! We could not have chosen a better place to spend our weekend-we definately need to come back! Thank you!

Already since my first booking request I felt treated the best possible way by Mr Domanig. Every question however minimal has been answered professionally and informatively in the quickest possible way.
For that reason I was not surprised by Mr Domanigs most welcoming and friendly greeting at our arrival (5 friendly couples). From the moment on at which he explained various things about the place such as the home cinema, the fireplace, the sauna etc. we knew that we are going to experience an amazing weekend. We have especially been enthused by the love of detail which brings a large contribution to the charme of the Gillausklause. The decoration and equipment is luxurious, genuine and of higher-value. The premises are tasteful, genuine furnished and all the areas including all outdoor facilities are in tiptop condition.
The perfect place for the retreat we have been looking for. We want to say thanks again for the friendly hospitality and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Thanks a lot for the beautiful days in the Gillausklause. It is a fantastic place. Why? Various things inspired me: First of all the idyllic location – located lonely and silent at the little Gillaus creek, allround ambrosial fairytale forest. The ensemble of three houses has been carefully and lovingly renovated. The arrangement and equipment of the premises and the outdoor facilities are tasteful, luxurious and highly comfortablel; the Gillausklause is many-sided. It is a place, where you can easily spend time and live – where you can enjoy your holiday (e.x. families) as well as work, learn, debate, hike, cook, relax, take a sauna…(for example in seminars and workshops …).

I am glad that places like the Gillausklause exist, places that inspire and delight.

It was not just this ideal place in the woods, not just the so lovingly renovated ensemble of houses, not just the integrated sauna or the home cinema, not even the crackling fire in the fireplace or the more then fully equipped kitchen and harmoniously designed rooms or the creek behind the house.
It was the sum of all these factors that caused such a beautiful, romantic and most over all recreative stay. Time elapsed much more slowly than we felt.

After our arrival Mr. Domanig handed us the Gillausklause over with every possible hint and information about daytrips and hikes.
We, three married couples, arrived being relatively stressed, enjoyed a great time and had the best possible start to the new year combined with a very positive attitude.
… and we wish to come back again! (if we are allowed?)
